AdaptivMVMT Physical Therapy & Performance, Inc. (“AdaptivMVMT,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates adaptivmvmt.com (the “Website”). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.
1. Educational Content Only
All content on the Website, including text, images, videos, and graphics, is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for an evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment by a qualified healthcare provider.
Always talk with a qualified healthcare provider about any medical condition and before starting any exercise or treatment program. If you try any exercise shown on the Website or our social media, you do so at your own risk. Stop and seek care if you feel pain, dizziness, or other symptoms.
2. No Therapist-Patient Relationship
Using the Website, submitting the contact form, emailing, texting, messaging us on social media, or having a discovery call does not create a therapist-patient relationship.
A therapist-patient relationship begins only after both of the following:
- You complete all required intake, consent, and legal documents, and
- We accept you as a patient at an in-person evaluation.
3. Not for Emergencies
The Website, our contact form, email, and text messages are not monitored for emergencies. If you have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
4. Discovery Calls
Discovery calls are free phone calls of about 15 minutes. They help you decide whether our services are a good fit for you. Discovery calls do not include an evaluation, diagnosis, or treatment, and any general information shared on a call is not medical advice. If we don’t think we’re the right fit, we may suggest another provider.
5. Appointments, Fees, and Payment
Appointments are booked and paid for through Jane App and are subject to our clinic policies, including our cancellation policy, which we provide when you book.
We are an out-of-network, cash-pay practice and do not bill insurance. On request, we can provide a superbill you may submit to your insurance plan. We cannot guarantee that your plan will reimburse you.
If you are uninsured or not using insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges. See our Good Faith Estimate notice on this Website.
If you have Medicare, please tell us before booking. Federal rules limit which services we can provide to Medicare beneficiaries.
6. Text Messaging Terms
If you opt in to text messages from AdaptivMVMT, these terms apply:
- What you’ll receive: messages about scheduling, appointment confirmations and reminders, and follow-up. If you separately opt in, you may also receive occasional updates about our services.
- Consent: agreeing to marketing texts is not a condition of buying any service.
- Frequency: message frequency varies.
- Cost: message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out: reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed.

- Carriers: carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy: see our Privacy Policy. Mobile information and text messaging consent are never shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Reviews and testimonials on the Website reflect the individual experiences of real clients. They are not a guarantee or prediction of your results. Every person’s condition and response to care is different, and results vary.

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute about the Website will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
